A One-of-a-Kind Sculpture, a Fine Art Fantasy Doll

Could something as thorny as a porcupine egg really be a gift?

This little girl of polymer clay with armature of wire and Aves Apoxie® clay is dressed in peach chiffon. Her bodice is delicately trimmed in minute sage and peach silk flowers.

Full of wonder that she was chosen to receive this gift, she contemplates the treasure inside. Should she wait for it to emerge? Or will the anticipation cause her to force the egg to be opened early?

Surrounded by designed imaginations her base is of mixed media offering a perspective to a legend yet to be heard. The bronze metal coating is accented with a green patina.
